My co-captain and I hired Carol to write the training plans for both sculling and lifting sessions for the Potomac Scullers starting in May of 2019, and we have come back to her twice since then for additional three-month seasonal plans. Carol's training plans are engaging and effective. She has been able accommodate the needs of a variety of ages and categories of scullers who race different distances during certain times of the year (e.g., 2k vs 1k in the summer).
Feedback from the team on Carol's sculling and lifting plans has been overwhelmingly positive, and the racing results speak for themselves. The team has also appreciated how accessible Carol is to answer questions. Her knowledge of rowing and lifting technique and fitness is vast, and she has been an invaluable resource for us.
On a personal note, I have really appreciated Carol's training plans. Her plan was no small part of my success this fall. Carol helped me train harder and smarter than I have in years. When the time came for my planned peak performance at Head of the Charles, I felt ready--and I was!
